Our favourite instagrammer this week is @hannahargyle! From simple, light shots of delightful collections of objects to colourful snaps of her life with her two little boys and enjoying life outside!
We had the pleasure of meeting Hannah and one of her little boys a few weeks ago! We talked all about the beauty of Instagram, how much we dislike green grass and the perfect prize for the giveaway for #momentsofmine winner in March!
Read our chat with Hannah below, where we talk all things editing apps, inspirations and mottos!
Describe your style in 5 words
Fresh, clean, colourful, light, simplicity (at least that's what I aim for!)
What are the tools you use to create your feed?
I use either my iPhone or my Nikon D610. I find my iPhone brilliant for flatlay, still lives etc, and it's also so useful for walking around cities. However, if I am looking for more depth or to capture the light in a more interesting way, or for portraits, then always my DSLR. I edit iPhone pictures with all sorts of apps, often PicTapGo and PSExpress, sometimes VSco and Colorstory too. I shoot RAW with my camera and edit mostly in Lightroom on the desktop.
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by so much! I have found since being a photographer I take great pleasure in the small things around me. My children are my greatest inspiration and my favourite thing to photograph, and I'm always looking for that magical light.
If you had an extra hour in the day what would you do?
That's a really tricky one! I think I'd sit in my bedroom where we have a lovely view across the park and lots off light, with my feet up and a cup of tea and watch the world go by. That doesn't happen often and would be such a treat every day!
What is your personal motto?
Live and let live! I try not to be bothered by the way other people live their lives. Wouldn't it be lovely if we all just let each other get on with it?
Who else should we follow on instagram? Who's your top three?
So many amazing feeds, so much daily inspiration. It's very hard to choose! Some of my current favourites are @toile_blanche, @kardemomme1 and @wunderblumen.
