We are so lucky that we’re based in the beautiful countryside of Buckinghamshire with the peacefulness of rolling fields and charming cottages, but we still have a soft spot for the hustle and bustle of London! That’s why this weeks Instagram favourite is @Siobhaise
, the creative brains behind such a beautiful feed! As well as another delight for the eyes, @prettycitylondon
. We can't get enough of both of them, the perfect remedy for our capital fix!
With irresistible shop fronts, doorways to daydream over and wonderful sneak peeks of behind the scenes streets, we just love exploring these galleries and know you will too! Read our chat with Siobhan below with a touching motto for everyday and something that is easy to forget in our busy day to day lives.
Describe your style in 5 words
Classic , romantic, clean and colourful - ooh and pretty!
What are the tools you use to create your feed?
I typically shoot iPhone 6 but lately I have been using my canon 5d mark iii. I like to use a combination of Lightroom and Vsco to edit - and find Instagram's own editing tools very good too.
Who or what inspires you?
I find constant inspiration on @Instagram - over my years on the app I have built up a little community and I simply love to meet my Insta Pals for inspiration. I hit the streets twice a week with my camera and I am continuously inspired by my surrounds. I also run an Instagram hub called @prettycitylondon which is a fabulous source of inspiration.
If you had an extra hour in the day what would you do?
Probably sleep - as a mum of three boys I get very little :)
What is your personal motto?
Remain positive and focused and most of all have fun along the way.
Who else should we follow on instagram? Who's your top three?
This is so difficult I love every single feed I follow but if I were to suggest three it would have to be @angrybaker for spot on photography and laugh out loud captions, @sky1967 for stunning shots of Paris and @coffeeandseasons for beautiful coffee and floral shots!
Thank you so much Siobhan! Head over to @siobhaise to lose the next few minutes or so!
