Vetiver & Lavender Hand Cream
At once calming and distinctive, Vetiver & Lavender is quintessentially Plum & Ashby – an exceptionally well-balanced fragrance that takes inspiration from nature. The earthy scent produced when fresh rain falls on dry soil – known as petrichor – is evoked by a complex layering of essential oils. At the heart, aromatic lavender and chamomile blend with heady jasmine and ylang ylang. This is lifted by citrus notes and lies on a sophisticated base of moss, vetiver, patchouli and musk.

Very pleasant hand cream. Particularly nice to use at bedtime as the slight lavender scent aids with sleep. Well, it does me!
I bought a tube of this whilst on holiday in Buxton in September this year thinking it was a pleasant smelling hand cream. However I have found, much to my delight, that it’s not only a pleasant smelling hand cream but it also relieves the arthritic pain and stiffness in my fingers and hands. I have since read about vetiver as an Indian herbal grass which can be used in the relief of arthritis pain and stiffness - it has certainly helped me in a very simple and pleasant way.
